Project Lifesaver

The Gregg County Sheriff’s Officers partners with the Pilot Club of Longview to provide the Project Lifesaver Program.  The program is designed to provide a tracking bracelet with a unique frequency to individuals who suffer from Alzheimer’s, Dementia or Autism.  The Gregg County Sheriff’s Office maintains tracking equipment and has three teams of trained deputies that respond to calls for assistance.  To be effective, this program is limited to individuals that do not have access to vehicles or other means of transportation.

For additional information regarding Project Lifesaver, please contact the Alzheimer Association Field Manager Julie Rucker (903) 291-1720 or 1-800-272-3900; Pilot Club representative Nancy Duke (903) 295-8806 or (903) 220-1355; or Gregg County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Daryl Ferguson (903) 236-8412.
