Emergency Management

Mark Moore serves as the Emergency Management Coordinator for Gregg County.

Gregg County and the City of Longview maintain a state of the art Emergency Operations Center (EOC) to direct county wide response to major emergency situations.

Mobile Command

The Gregg County Sheriff’s Office utilizes two Mobile Command Posts based on the specific need of the incident response.  Sheriff Maxey Cerliano and his staff have responded to assist other agencies throughout the region.

Gregg County Sheriff’s Office Mobile Command, a retrofitted Fleetwood trailer, was obtained through the United States Marshal’s Office equipment sharing program.  It is equipped with two dispatch stations as well as an ACU 1000 that allows emergency responder radios that operate on different frequencies to communicate.

Additionally, Gregg County partners with the City of Longview to operate a completely self contained emergency response vehicle.  This vehicle is equipped with state of the art technology necessary to communicate, dispatch and respond to emergency situations.
